Overview
Custom Business Financial Solutions was a brand development, logo design, business card and website project for an Australian finance brokerage business led by Patrick Wachowiak (Director and Credit Representative). The business covers finance solutions across asset, commercial, agricultural and residential finance, with referrals to and partnerships with multiple lenders.
The project required a complete client-facing identity system — digital and print — that could build trust quickly with business owners, individuals and clients seeking tailored finance options across very different lending scenarios.
The brief and the challenge
Finance branding can easily fall into cliché — blue corporate colours, stock business imagery and conservative typography. The brief was to look trustworthy and stable without becoming generic, and to feel personal enough for clients dealing directly with a broker rather than a large bank.
The system had to communicate financial knowledge, practical lending support, business credibility, personal service, access to finance options, confidence and stability — across both a business card handed to a referral and a website viewed on mobile.
The approach
The identity uses bright green as the primary colour for finance, growth and visibility, balanced against black, charcoal and white for professionalism and contrast. The logo combines the business initials with a circular monogram, giving the brand a recognisable symbol that can work independently of the wordmark.
The business card design uses strong white space, simple icons and a green accent line on the front for clean contact hierarchy, with the reverse acting as a compact brand statement listing the four service categories — "Asset Finance · Commercial · Agricultural · Residential". The responsive website carried the same system into a homepage with brand header, hero image, service overview, partner lender logos, and clear contact-led navigation across desktop and mobile.
