Furniture Court Kingaroy — store business card design
A professional business card for the Kingaroy Furniture Court store, using the established Furniture Court logo, brand colours and related store identity (Beds R Us, La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery). The front carries store branding and staff details; the reverse is a writable quote-note area — turning a contact card into a customer follow-up tool.
Overview
This project produced a business card for the Kingaroy Furniture Court store using the established Furniture Court logo, brand colours and related store identity elements. The work focused on brand application — applying the existing system correctly and then giving the reverse of the card a second functional purpose.
For a regional furniture store the card supports in-store customer service, sales follow-ups, commercial furniture enquiries, local networking, supplier conversations, quote discussions, repeat customer contact and brand recall after showroom visits.
The brief and the challenge
The front had to carry several layers of information — Kingaroy Furniture Court branding, staff name and role, Furniture Court logo and tagline, Beds R Us and La-Z-Boy brand references, phone, email and physical store address — without becoming cluttered. The back also had to be functional, with space for handwritten quote notes, contact names and dates.
The approach
The front uses a clean two-sided layout with strong brand visibility at the top and contact information arranged in a clear visual hierarchy. The reverse was treated as a practical quote-note area — giving the card an extra purpose beyond simple contact exchange. Staff can write a quote reference, customer name or follow-up note directly on the card during showroom conversations.
- Two-sided layout — branding and contact details on the front, writable quote area on the back
- Existing Furniture Court brand applied consistently
- Supporting Beds R Us and La-Z-Boy brand references positioned cleanly
- White space and structured alignment for professional retail finish
- Print-ready artwork supplied at production specification

Make the card useful after the conversation ends
Most business cards get handed out and forgotten. Giving the reverse a writable quote area means the card stays in the customer's hand or wallet long after the showroom visit — supporting follow-up, recall and word-of-mouth. The same thinking applies to other retail collateral we design. See print design Brisbane and graphic design & print.
Outcome
The final business card gave Kingaroy Furniture Court a clean, professional and functional print asset combining brand presentation, personal contact details, associated furniture brand references and a writable quote area. The design helped the card work as both a business card and a customer follow-up tool.
