A two-sided business card and QR review card for Beds R Us Oxley. The front presents the store's identity and staff contact details with strong brand consistency; the reverse turns the card into a customer-review prompt — supporting local SEO, Google Business Profile engagement and online reputation for the retail store.
Overview
This project produced a two-sided business card for Beds R Us Oxley using the store's existing logo, colours and retail brand style. Rather than create a new identity, the design extended the established Beds R Us system into a polished, practical and brand-consistent print piece that could be used in-store, during customer conversations, after sales, and as part of local retail networking.
The card does two jobs in one print piece: professional contact sharing on the front, and customer review generation on the back — turning a routine business card into a useful local marketing tool.
The brief and the challenge
The card had to balance several competing demands: respect the existing Beds R Us brand, present staff and store information clearly, keep the QR code highly visible with a strong customer review call-to-action, and stay readable in the small 90×55 mm format. Customer review cards in particular need to be action-focused — customers should immediately understand what to do and why it matters.
The approach
The front uses the Beds R Us logo prominently against a deep navy background, supported by the Oxley store name, staff name, role and website. The brand's orange accent colour highlights key information without overwhelming the layout.
The reverse is designed as a customer feedback prompt. A large QR code, a clear review message — "Share your experience! Your feedback helps us grow." — and store contact details sit on an orange background that creates strong contrast and makes the back of the card feel actionable. Staff hand it to customers after a positive showroom interaction, delivery or mattress purchase while the experience is still fresh.
